Green tree pythons (Morelia Viridis) are a favourite amongst experienced snake keepers.

In captivity and in the wild green tree pythons eat rodents. They need to be fed every 7 – 10 days and originate in New Guinea, Indonesia and parts of Australia.

Green tree pythons live approximately 15 – 20 years and can grow to approximately 3 – 4 ft.

Green tree pythons are born bright yellow or red and change to green as they get older.
